Our authentic Oktoberfest is a collaboration with Störtebeker, an award-winning German brewer internationally recognized for quality and innovation.
This modern Festbier leans into a rich, smooth malt backbone with notes of fresh-baked bread and honey. Traditional German hops provide balanced bitterness and herbal-spicy aroma, rounding out the crisp, clean finish. Prost!

12 oz. can from Lowe's Foodstore in Indian Land, SC. Pours a crystal clear gold color with a white head and great retention. Very little lacing. Light caramel malt aroma. Very malty and full flavor with good caramel notes in the finish. A good mix of Marzen and Festbier styles. Very smooth and clean. Medium+ body. Semi-slick texture. Medium carbonation. Low bitterness. Great beer.

Canned 7/15/25, drunk 9/28/25.
Clear, bright, flaxen-golden with some deep brass. Large, frothy, fairly well-retained, white head.
Spicy noble hop is quite evident but not overdone. Herbs and baked bread align with light mineral a mild white grape lingering. Richly-malted and quite aromatic for SN.
Clean, very malty for a festbier, not that there's any reason it can't be so. Rich, rich honey, bread and spicy hop lingering. Very malty, but flavorful and satisfying and well-attenuated.

12 ounce can from Trader Joe’s in Princeton, NJ. Brassy gold pour is topped by a frothy beige head. Spotty lacing. Sweet, toasted malt aroma has earthy notes. Flavor mirrors nose. Sweet, bready malt notes upfront. Bittersweet hops in middle. A bit of honey as well. Finishes crisp, dry and bitter.

12oz can c/o Ryan. Really nice Festbier. Not quite as hoppy as some of the others Sierra has done. Great malt depth, pleasant hop balance, lingers more than most examples for sure. Really good.

Love the annual Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest collab, this year is with a brewer from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern the only German region I’ve yet to tick and won’t get credit here haha. Tannish gold and small head that turns to film. Nose is bready and honey. Tastes of bread, floral, honey, spicy. Fine drinkable palate. Hopefully sharing rest of my 12 pack with friends later this weekend but if not I’ll have no problem finishing myself.
