3/5/2026. Bottle at the ITFC Promotion Party (2026) beer share. Bought directly from the brewery. Pours okay. Aroma is jammy, plummy, berries, sweet malts, chalky notes. Sweet fruity taste. Foamy carbonation. Best so far from this brewery.

Bottle from Hop Shop Aberdeen. It pours clear deep reddish - amber with a decent off white head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, sappy, resin, wood, toffee, blood orange, marmalade and brown bread. The taste is dry upfront, bitter - sweet character, sappy wood, resin, leather, pithy, zesty, orange marmalade, leafy, slightly dusty, brown bread and a touch of tannin with a drying, zesty finale. Average body and moderate carbonation. A decent red by all accounts.
