Hazy Jaipur, formerly known as DDH Jaipur, uses the same quality ingredients as our flagship beer, Jaipur. What sets it apart is the double-hopping, which creates a vibrant, radiant haze and gives it an irresistibly inviting appearance. The soft, pillowy mouthfeel perfectly complements the bold, punchy flavours, which deliver a burst of tropical notes with juicy mango and pineapple at the forefront.

440ml can. Minimally milky, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with average to huge, firm, dense, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, snow white head. Floral and slightly fruity, hoppy aroma, minimally biscuity, pale malty background, unspecific floral- and fruitiness, some citrusy aspects. Taste is mildly bitter, floral and slightly fruity, hoppy, biscuity, light pale malty basis with some residual sweetness, unspecific floral- and fruitiness again. Watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously minimally dry palate, medium to fine, soft, mildly prickly carbonation. Homogenous, balanced, light, drinkable - nice.

Cask at The Ealing Beer Festival 2024, Ealing, London. A hazy golden/yellow coloured pour with a decent bubbly white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, tropical fruit taste and aroma. A pleasant enough dry tasting IPA.

Cask Half @ Salopian, the pub. Pours a hazed gold, white head. Aroma is leafy, sappy, pungent citrus hop. Continues to taste, surprisingly full-on hop-wise. Really excellent, a world away from standard Jaipur.

440ml can bought at Alko Kilpis, shared with Finn. Fluffy white head over a hazy yellowish body, dotted spots on the glass. Subdued aromas of tropical fruits. Malt-fruity flavours, hints of pineapple, wheat and juicy malts. Drying close. Respectable. (Tromsø, 12.05.2024).
