Hazy Jaipur, formerly known as DDH Jaipur, uses the same quality ingredients as our flagship beer, Jaipur. What sets it apart is the double-hopping, which creates a vibrant, radiant haze and gives it an irresistibly inviting appearance. The soft, pillowy mouthfeel perfectly complements the bold, punchy flavours, which deliver a burst of tropical notes with juicy mango and pineapple at the forefront.

(Can, 0.44 l - canned on 28.09.2020 - BB 28.03.2021, from Alko, 20201204) The beer poured golden and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, peach and pineapple. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were peach, pineapple, tangerine, creamy toffee, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste had grass, malts and bitterness. A pleasant fruity brew with good bitter finish.

A murky, golden beer, a head is quite big and blond. Aroma has grapefruit, mango, good freshness. Taste has grapefruit, balanced bitterness, hint of green leaves. Medium bodied. Aroma was nice and I waited an upgraded Jaipur, but then hint of green leaves in the taste decreased the feelings. Also not so sophisticated as the normal Jaipur.

On tap at The Made Inn Ashford well this is a big moment. a new version of Jaipur a beer I have loved since first having it in October 2006 at Nottingham beer festival. I've had 2 pints of regular cask Jaipur this week at Commercial Rooms JDW in Bristol and it was still tasting good. So what does this new version bring? Cloudy instead of a slight haze. Still a grapefruit led aroma. Very light thickness in the mouth. Not as bitter on the finish. I mean its decent. I had 2 pints quite easily. As good as regular Jaipur on cask? No. Served a bit cold for me. As good as regular Jaipur on keg? No. Still it's a nice enough tribute to 15 years of a beer that has got me so drunk so many times. Like last year at Ashford Create festival in the park watching Lightning Seeds with 8 cans of Jaipur. Brilliant. This DDH is decent, but not as good as the real thing.

I knew that @Jamesie1857 would beat me to this, however I was quite quick off the mark. Can picked up from Thornbridge Webshop and consumed at home Wednesday 14th October cooking Fish, Chips and Mushy Peas listening to Protomartyr - Ultimate Success Today. Pours hazy golden colour with a frothy white head. This is crisp, dry, really lengthy dry finish and bitter. This is definitely Jaipur in terms of parentage but the DDH really changes it, it is a fabulous beer in it's own right but loses a little depth of flavour and fruitiness and trades this for a lengthy dryness and bitterness.

On keg at The Coach and Horses, Dronfield - Frothy topped hazy gold beer. Lots of citrus in the nose, lovely bitterness in the taste. Nice salute to the original, but like the 10th anniversary one, not a patch on a classic.
