Can at home. Clear red amber and frothy head. Nose is earthy and caramel. Tastes of bread, caramel, red fruits, leather, some malt. Smooth palate.

16 oz can shared by tfontana. Thank you! Guess the appearance?? Yep, amber. Aroma is light herb hops underneath toffee malt. No big surprises here. Toasted grain, mild toffee-ish malt with a subtle herb finish. Light bodied and light dry texture. Best you can expect from this style.

Can from CBC Westford. Clear, amber-red, light sparkle, decent head with fair retention, light lacing. Aroma is caramel, grain, light spice. Taste is as aroma with greater strength. Smooth, creamy, frothy texture, soft carbonation and crisp finish as taste. A fine red ale.
