Tap at Meibickfestival, Amsterdam: Cloudy golden colored brew with an fine sweet bitter taste with hints of caramel, lemon and honey.

Draft @ the brewpub as Prototype 11. Murky amber color. Big dense almost white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma’s: malty sweet, sweet & sour fruit, light herbal (hops). Retronasal it’s sweetish, herbs (aniseed?). Flavor is moderate sweet, light bitter, with a light fruity sourness. Medium bodied. Finishes slightly dry and eventually rather earthy bitter.

Draft at Butchers Tears. Hazy orange with an off white head. Aroma of herbs, caramel, malt, peppery yeast, yeast and grassy hops. Flavour is light moderate sweet and above moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Sampled from tap at Meibockfestival Amsterdam 2016. Slightly hazy, golden yellow with a tan to white head. Sweetish, fruity and slightly floral aroma of lemon peel, sweet malts, a bit of peach and some spices. Sweetish-malty, fruity and a bit spicy taste of caramel, honey, lemon peel and ginger, followed by a short, slightly bitter, spicy finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Quite nice!
