750ml swing top job. Bakers and Larners, Holt. Label states this was gyle 1917 brewed March 21. Mostly clear deep gold. Super solid sticky and lasting white foam. Looks boss. Nose has honeyed malts with pithy fruity zippy citrus, resinous notes. Taste has some sticky juicy sweetness up front with dollops of resinous, pithy bitterness. Unreal nick this, makes me wonder where it’s been for nearly 3 years. Lots of body with foamy rolling carbonation. Big bitterness to finish. Shit, I wish I could nip back down and get a case of this.
