Keg at Brewdoge Waterloo, South Coast Jolly Boys Day Out 20/09/2025.
Clear golden topped with a white cap.
Nose is sweet edged, caramel, sultanas, herb.
Taste comprises fruit loaf, breads, stewed fruits, herb.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Okay drop if running a touch sweet for my liking.

330ml can. Hazy, orange, dark golden to amber colour with average to huge, frothy to creamy, osteoprosing, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, wheaty and caramel malty as well as slightly yeasty fruity aroma, hints of honey, banana, baked banana. Taste is quite strange, sugary, wheaty and slightly caramel malty, yeasty spicy, slightly yeasty fruity and dry, bitter, minimally fruity hoppy, hints of banana, red berries, some honey, a minimally metallic touch.
Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium, prickly to lively carbonation.
Unbalanced, heterogeneous, overcarbonated - not convincing.

(Draft at BrewDog Mitte, Berlin, 15 July 2025) Golden amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of bread, apricots, orange peel and herbs. Malty, fruity, slightly spicy taste with bread, apricots, orange peel, clove and a balanced herbal bitterness. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Quite complex. Interesting and well balanced. Nice one.

Can from BD online. It pours hazy deep orangey - blonde with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is quite spicy, big clove character, nutmeg, cinnamon, peppery spice, cereal, nuttiness, sponge cake and orange marmalade. The taste is bitter - sweet, quite sweet, quite fragrant, clove rock, cinnamon, big red chewing gum, aniseed, damp grain, grassy, slightly leafy, caramel biscuit, bread and some some alcohol warmth with a smooth, spicy finish. Medium+ body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Not bad, hides he abv very well indeed.
