Malt forward traditional English ale with a modern twist using Simcoe for the dry hop. Malt flavours of caramel, toffee and a touch of biscuit help to balance the resinous and earthy hop bitterness. Dark fruity esters produced during fermentation from the English yeast we use help to compliment and balance the malt and hop flavours and aromas.

330ml can from Beer52. Poured into a La Chouffe glass at home on 6th October 2025 while eating a slow cooked 'Spanish Chicken' dish. ESB meets an Irish Red sort of beer. Light red hue to the copper body, bright and clear, off white top. Malty with caramel to the fore, hops kick in mid sip.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A copper coloured pour with a loose cream coloured head; aroma of caramel malts with a little citrus; similar taste - sweet caramel malts with a fresh lemony citrus zing; and a slightly earthy finish. Very drinkable.
