Keg at If It Ain't Dutch. A mild haze on this deep amber brown beer, small tidy tan head. Airy palate, smooth, reasonable fine carbonation. Light bodied malts, a light creamy sweetness, a little fruity caramel. Soft cooling pine. More ripe fruits, fig, date, prune, a little ripe citrus. Soft finish. A young tasting but richly flavoured BW, nicely fruity.

Keg at GBBF 25. A cloudy dark brown. Thin foamy beige head just sticks to the rim. Aroma has rye spice and sweetness with dark fruits and molasses. Some booze. Flavourwise it's sweet - rye, dark fruit and molasses. A sour edge and hint of spice. Develops a milk chocolate streak. Medium bodied. Oily. Average carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Relaxed Barley Wine.
