Blueberry Lager. Tart, balanced, and refreshing. A delightfully sweet twist on the classic American lager

The Aromas are standard lager with some blueberry. Flavors are like nose, thank goodness not overly sweet, slight hint tart, with good body, carbonation and finish. No off qualities. Not bad.

Keg at Three Cellars Oak Creek, 2/8/19. Pink, large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of vinous berries and grain. Taste is blueberry juice. Thin.

Draft/Fest. A- Mild berry. A- Pink color, clear liquid, pink head. T- Blueberry, soda. P- Light body, average texture, medium carbonation, sweet finish. O- Blueberry soda is what this is. I must say I always considered these guys like an old school macro. Think PBR. That said, for a fruit beer, this wasn't too shabby!

Draft. Pinkish purple color, hazy to cloudy. Very fruity. A bit sweet, but highly drinkable.

On tap at City Works. Pours a clear deep amber with a ruby hue and a pink head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has tons of sweet blueberry with a bit of light grains underlying. Flavor is similar with lots of sweet blueberry and not much else.

Purple foam, and purple beer. Served cold, a little ice in the first few sips. Sweet with blueberry, and lots of blueberry flsvor. The sweetness of Grain belt works well with the fruit. Lasting purple head. Surprisingly good. They could can this beer and compete with the fruit beer market. Much better than their radler or gose. --- Beer merged from original tick of Blu on 20 Sep 2018 at 18:16 - Score: 7
