This edition in the Danforth Road series by Loch Mór Cider this time features the single varietal Kingston Black (A traditional UK cider apple). Slightly floral with some balanced tannins, it’s dry, bright with a bit of acidity that makes it quite gripping. A long lingering aftertaste that is more dank in a finish, it has a bit of a caramel finish. Easy to drink but high in alcohol at almost 8%. For being a very traditional tannic cider, its one of the easier, more sessionable ones to drink without compromising on quality or style On ice takes away much of the characteristics.
