Roast and a hint of smoke, coffee. Pours black with OK head and lacing. Light bitter finish. I don't get a super potent black IPA vibe from this, but a little more hops than say a dunkel. Tap at Shelter.

Draft at the roost pours an inky black with some frothy, tan head. Nose is nutty, piney, soapy. Big grist and burnt toast. Malty and chewy in the mouth, toast and some coffee grounds. Pine more than anything. Medium bodied. Chewy and bitter on the finish. Solid.

0.7l bottle, thx Gurthnar for sharing! Blackish, very dark brown body, big, lasting off-white head. Nutmeg aroma, some dark malts, light cloves. Odd. Lemony and chocolate taste, very lean and dry. Bit too overcarbed for its own good. Such a weird beer, but not bad!

Med-thin body, med-high carbonation. Med-high bitterness, light sweetness. Medium chocolate, light deep roast. Medium piney, resiny, med-light citrusy hops character. Light minerally. Quite tasty, well balanced, good.
