Pro tuto Cold IPA jsme použili čerstvou Riwaku ze sklizně 2025 od novozélandských Freestyle Hops – chmel, který je pro nás jeden z těch nejvzácnějších – má unikátní intenzivní aroma a zároveň je velmi náročný na pěstování s každoročně malým výnosem. Charakter udávají tóny limetky, grepové kůry, červeného rybízu a pryskyřice na suchém a lehkém základu.

For this Cold IPA, we used freshly harvested 2025 Riwaka from New Zealand’s Freestyle Hops—one of the rarest and most precious hops. Its unique aroma intensity and naturally low yields make it a true gem. Expect bold notes of lime zest, grapefruit peel, red currant, and a touch of resin—all on a crisp, clean, and bone-dry base.

Golden with a fluffy white head. Tropical citrus, bright orange, apricot, dry white wine, light berry notes. Medium bodied. Finish has some zest to it. Tasty and refreshing.

500ml can. Opalescent, yellow-ish, golden colour with average, frothy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Rather condensed, slightly piney and fruity, hoppy aroma, minimally grainy, pale malty background, hints of pine, melon, apple, orchard fruit. Taste is sweet-ish, minimally grainy and minimally biscuity, pale malty as well as fruity and minimally piney hoppy, condensed notes of red apple, melon, watermelon, orchard fruit.
Oily texture, smooth and soft, minimally greasy palate, medium to fine, soft carbonation.
Condensed, oily, no "disseminating" hop flavours - OK.

Can at Lya, with Lovro. Hazy golden body, off-white head.
Orange hoppy notes in the aroma, light tropical touches, sweet white grape. Oily taste, light white grapes, citric touches, herbal ending lightly bitter. Nice!

Rather thin body, dry. Medium carbo. Med-high bitterness, light sweetness. Light caramelly malt, but mostly hoppy, med-high gooseberry, white winey, med tangerine, light flowery. Quite clean, very easy drinking. Very good.
