Beer Lab for August 2025 is a series of Mikkeller recipes from the vault, dusted off and given a new paint job! These classic beers have been amped up and reinvented for the modern day.
Mikkeller was one of the pioneers of single hop beers; before then, most breweries just listed 'hops' as a generic ingredient. Creating single hop beers allowed brewers and consumers to understand the nuances of individual hops. For this 2025 version, we've chosen New Zealand Motueka, showcasing the bright, zesty citrus notes of this incredible hop, with undercurrents of tropical fruits and traces of summer herbs

Prominent fresh zesty citrus with crushed lime and lemon, grapefruit, pine and floral hoppy accents, creamy sweet malty backing, robust hoppy finish. Again fresh on and a nice tasty drop.
