12oz bottle. Sort of doubt this still uses Nelson, but perhaps. Drinks more in line with a classical, resinous, full bodied IIPA than a new school clean juice-bomb. Not bad by any means, just kind of soapy, bitter, boring. OK.

Draft at JL Beers. Clear golden color. Pine and earth aroma. Taste is bittersweet earthy citrus and pine. Nice balance.

Bottle from TheHoff43 - thanks! Pours crystal clear orange, medium creamy beige head, dissipates slowly, nice lacing. Aroma is onion, spruce, grapefruit, dankness. Flavor is light plus sweet, medium bitter, resinous. Medium body, oily mouthfeel. Decent.

My first sniff, I thought it smelled like natural gas, but a second whiff confirmed it was much more cat pee-ish (which isn’t going to grab a lot of non-IPA’ers, but is really telling). This is a really good imperial/double IPA, with a big combo of mingled tropical fruit and bitter hop flavors. Pours a clear copper, with little by way of head, but what a feast of flavors. Well-balanced with the malt so it’s not too sweet, not too bitter. Easily the standout beer I’ve tried from Fulton. Will definitely need to get some more.

Draft at Fulton during RBSG. From notes. Resinous pine and loads of citrus. Diggin this one for sure.
