Bright gold, medium head, bright passionfruit, stone fruit and light pine. Clean pale malt. On the palate it’s odd…mostly hop but the expression is more pear, some of toastiness. Such a nice aroma and just did not follow through on the palate. Bubblegum…i bet there’s krush in here and that’s fucking it up.

On tap at the brewery. Pours hazy pale blonde with a white head. Very gentle pine and citrus on the nose. Flavour has pine, citrus, and some dank hops. It's okay, but I expected more from Bale Breaker.

On tap at Barley Merchant, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma has some piney hops, citrus peel, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is a bit more grassy and herbal in the hop department, as well as piney and citrusy. Finishes crisp and grassy. Not the best hop expansion but not bad either. Bale Breaker wouldn’t put out WCIPAs this low quality but I’m sure they helped Yellow Dog up the quality of this. Decent.

Part of a flight at The Drake Eatery in Victoria, Vancouver Island on 14th August 2025. Decent enough IPA, mostly clear golden body, white crown. Piney and citrussy with a understated malt content. Yet another new brewery tick too, so all good.
