The best hop farm in New Zealand just so happens to be the the one that supplies us our hops! Mac Hops was founded in 1900 and today is run by the amazingly passionate 5th generation farmer and hop wrangler Brent McGlashen. This beer is a celebration of their hops in a crisp, supper hoppy and clean NZ beer.

Hops: Nelson Sauvin, Motueka, Riwaka

44cl can, canne d16/07/2025, BB 14/01/2026.

Can at home, from HOTM online, 06/09/2025.
Absolutely nothing like a Pils ... lets be perfectly clear ... may as well called it a hazy pale!
Hazed golden yellow topped with a lasting white head.
Nose is stone fruit, grass, pine nibble, mandarin, pale malts, mixed tropical fruit esters.
Taste comprises grass, white grape, gooseberries, pine needle, mandarin, papaya, guava, light bready malts.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close punctured with juicy come lightly resinous NZ fuelled hop bitterness.
Solid kit.
