Following our original Canned Laughter collab with Ed Gamble, our latest sour in the series takes inspiration from ‘Cowboy’, Kim’s Edinburgh Fringe show; an ode to ‘winging it’ and doing your best to make sense of it all. Both concepts which feel right at home for team Vault City.
This beer is packed to the brim with juicy fresh fruit flavour combining blueberries, honeyberries, vanilla and zesty lemon to leave you grinning after every sip.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Plummy red colour, some bubbles on top and aroma of jelly, mixed berry fruit, icing sugary. Taste is sweet & sour, berries, dark fruity, some tartness, lemon rind, with drying acidity. Medium bodied, light carbonation, soured fruity acidic finish. Quite drinkable.

Panda at home, thanks to Graham Grumbo, 14/09/2025.
Deep claret with a thin faded crimson cap.
Nose is blackcurrants, trifle mix, straw, herb, berry pips.
Taste comprises blueberries, sugars, vanilla, herb, mixed berry compote.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light puckering edge.
Fun enough sour and pretty much as always with VC ... just wish it carried more sourness.

Keg draught at the Two-Tailed Lion, Leicester. Bluish magenta and hazy with a light off-white ring of head. Strange aroma, balsamic vinegar, berries, hard citrus, a teeny tiny bit of soy. My, this is a real sour. Taste is sour and fruity but not too much, cut a bit by the vanilla. Sourness dissipates all the way to the finish. Light body with carbonation on the heavy side. It's pretty good if a bit less comvincing than Vault City's best stuff.

16/8/2025. Can from Hopsters, Ipswich. Aroma is limoncello, blueberry, starburst, herbs, star fruit. Moderate sweetness and tartness. Medium body, quite lively. Some drying sourness to finish. Liked the limoncello but overall was a bit muddled.
