Bottle. Appearance is gold with a decent head. It may be a lager but it tastes and smells like an IPA.

My $2 pink can from vintage says aerialist spring lager but it is 5.5% so I guess its here? From the start it is quite hoppy, but not hoppy like an old IPL. Pour is fairly clear and pale with a white foamy head. Not as civilized as a pale lager but certainly not rude enough to be considered india hoppy lager. Yes, this s more like a premium lager, not bad, its just that I know it probably would taste better without the hops. Good co2 sizzle clear to the end.

Bright, fruity nose, full of mandarin orange, grapefruit, and lager yeast. Taste offers up strong orange, lemon, apple, and cantaloupe, with a toasted grain malt undertone, modest sweet corn notes, and floral bitterness on the back end. Pours gold with a brief white head and modest lacing. Very drinkable.

Bottle from Craft Brewed. Pours a clear goldenrod color with a full finger of foam that lingers throughout. Grassy hop aromas and straw on the palate with a touch of apricot. Palate has lots of peach & apricot with peppercorn. Crisp carbonation and texture with a prickly pear bitter finish. Really well done and enjoyable. --- Beer aliased from original tick of Aerialist Spring Lager on 09 Apr 2018 at 19:19 - Score: 7. 12 ounce bottle into lager glass, bottled on 5/18/2017. Pours lightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lasts the whole glass. Nice dense soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of tangerine, peach, apricot, lemon, pear, apple, mango, melon, berry, citrus zest, light pepper/pine, cracker, white bread, biscuit dough, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity hops and bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of tangerine, peach, lemon, pear, apple, mango, melon, berry, citrus zest, light pepper/pine, cracker, white bread, biscuit dough, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very mild pine, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, peach, apricot, lemon, pear, apple, mango, melon, berry, citrus zest, light pepper/pine, cracker, white bread, biscuit dough, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity hops and bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Lightly increasing dryness from bitterness. Very clean on lager flavors, with minimal yeast notes present. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.5%. Overall this is a very good hoppy pale lager style. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink; with the mildly bitter finish. Balanced Hull Melon/Mandarina hops and Pils malt flavors. Very flavorful for the ABV. Nice hop flavor presence, without much bitterness. A very enjoyable offering.

Draft at Salud. Crystal clear golden aroma, dense white head with good retention and solid lacing, a truly gorgeous beer, especially after muddling through murky IPAs. Nice aroma of meadow, melon and citrus. Taste is peppery lager, crisp finish. Tasty.

2 month old bottle A: Pours clear pale gold with 1/2" of thick white foam. Decent retention, good patchy lace and busy carbonation. S: Light but sharp lemon and sweet bread scent. A little zest. T: Sweet and sour bread in great balance with hop notes of lemon and pith. Zest and melon aftertaste. M: Medium bodied with fine beaded carbonation. Slightly chewy O: Really nice hoppy lager in all categories that I look forward to each spring.

Bottle: Bubbly, cloudy, tan-gold with a small white head. Fruity, orange and melon scent. Taste is sweet, semi-tropical citrus. Very pleasant citrus-peel bittering. Lagery...with some APA character. Very good.

Bottle. Earthy orange/melon, caramel malt and grapefruit peel aroma. Cloudy golden yellow with small head. Moderately sweet citrus, creamy caramel malt, and moderately bitter grapefruit peel flavor. Nice body. Very good.
