Piercing bitterness in this ’brite’ English style wheat beer which mellows to reveal fruit overtones amidst a dry as a bone finish. This is a real thirst quencher.
In 2010, the bremaster was no longer get the wheat malt that was used so it is no longer a wheat beer.

Cask conditioned at the 32nd Cambridge Beer Festival, gravity dispense. Pale golden colour. Lovely citrussy sweet aroma, hints of honey. Some natural carbonation, zesty. Some wheat character. A nice hoppy bitterness throughout. Another great session beer from Oakham.

[Cask at GBBF 2003] A hazy yellow beer with a fine head. It has next to no aroma - only notes of malt. The flavor is smooth and sparckling with a prickling on the tongue. It is rather bitter but not much reminisence of wheat. It is pretty bitter for a wheat beer. An OK beer, but not what I expected.
