Dark ruby colour, small beige head. Aroma has prunes, dates and touch of licorice. Medium-bodied. Flavour has licorice, berries, prunes, dates, caramel and warming alcohol in the aftertaste. Interesting slick brew, potential for some ageing.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV, Keukeman en Roelzie. Het is een diep donkerbruin bier met een dun bruinig schuim. Het heeft een aroma van gebrande mout, kardemom en gedroogd fruit. De smaak is vol moutig, zoet en rozijnen achtig.

0.33 l bottle from 'SpeciaalBierPakket.nl', best before June 2030. Very dark ruby to black with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Intensely sweetish-malty, gently fruity and slightly spicy aroma of molasses, caramel, dark fruits, anise, marzipan and cinnamon. Fairly sweet, malty, moderately bitter, quite spicy and gently fruity taste of molasses, marzipan, cinnamon, anise, dark fruits, caramel and laurel, followed by a long, moderately bitter, gently boozy and a bit peppery finish. Full body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Really tasty beer, quite spicy but also warming and rich. That's the shit!
