Ever so slightly hazy golden coloured body with a mildly opaque glow, only showing a super small, half centimetre tall, pure white head. Aroma of grass, biscuits, astringency, some metal, a light citrus sweetness and a dose of bready yeast notes. Light-bodied; Strong biscuity and grassy malt notes with some light mild nutty and earthy notes that add to the malt and floral side of things with a subdued sweetness from some fruits and a dry and slightly grainy. Aftertaste shows some light grassiness with a lot of herbal hops with a subdued bitterness from the hops, but a biscuity and grainy bite from the yeast really peaks towards the end, but all is fairly easy-drinking with a touch of sugars at the very end, but very well-structured. Overall, a fairly nice and crisp lager with some fruitiness, but the yeast, biscuity malts and balanced are the best aspects of this one. Nice to sample, especially on a fairly warm (and very humid) day at the end of October here in Washington, when it shouldn't be so hot, but of course it is. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Whole Foods in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 27-May-2020 for US$3,49 sampled at my house here in Washington on 21-October-2020.

5 week old pint can A: Poured a big pillowy white head on a very finely hazed pale yellow body. Excellent retention and sheets of lace. S: Herbal hops, hay, grass. Malts are bread and light corn. T: Follows the nose closely with grassy herbs upfront then pepper, overtaken by corny sweetness in the finish. M: Light and fizzy but leaves a surprising amount of resin to finish. Detracts slightly from refreshment. O: Not bad. Nice hop flavor but the corn aspect is too strong IMO.
