Our hop forward session beer, built for enjoying any time of day. You’ll find this brew to be full of juicy, classic hop flavor with just enough malt backbone to keep things in balance. We reserve some of our favorite hops–Simcoe, Cascade and Centennial–to use in this beer, which gives the aroma a heady mix of orange marmalade, grapefruit, and resin.
Hops: Amarillo, Cascade, Galaxy, Rakau, Simcoe
Malt: Light Crystal, Munich, Two Row

Reviewed from notes.
Bottle to English pint glass.
Appearance: golden yellow color with some transparency about it and a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: grapefruit, orange peel & pulp, and piney hops with a light clean malt base
Flavor: bittersweet with a big citrusy rind bitterness rolling in to punch at the sweet part a bit; finishes crisp and grapefruity with the pine
Texture: light bodied, sessionable; some smoothness but also a good dose of that West coast bitterness that felt good on the tongue
Overall: nicely done West coast session IPA well worthy of coming back to.

Bottle from The Beer Mongers, Portland. Aroma is fruity hops, zesty citrus, citrus peel, lemongrass, grapefruit, and a touch of pineapple. Flavour is lightly sweet with a moderate to medium dry finish. Body is medium. Very crushable with a clean tropical fruity aroma and a modest flavour.

Bottle. Thanks Will. Aroma is cheesy, sour, citrus. Taste is better, citrus, grassy, not so bad. Not sure it supposed to be like this, but it's alright. --- Beer merged from original tick of Lunch Break India Session Ale on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:05 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7. Draught. Cloudy yellow with a lekker citrus and evergreen aroma. White head. Flavour didn't quite gel for me, the hops seemed to fight each other. Finish started well then upset me.

Draft at The Hop Shop. Clear golden color, big white head. Beautiful aroma of earth and flowers. Taste is earthy fruit. Very tasty. Cheating on the session angle though.

Bottle from Albertsons. Starts out nice, medium golden pour with small foamy head.Muted aroma, equal parts malty and hoppy. Taste follows closer to an APA than an IPA, mild bitterness, Slightly sweet and fruity, but dry bitter flavor lingers.

Draught @ Breakside, Portland, OR. Pours golden orange with a smooth head. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit and grass. Taste is grassy, citrusy and slightly grapefruity with some lemon and hops. Finish is crisp, citrusy and grassy with some grapefruit and lemon grass. Okay, quite balanced but a bit easy going. --- Beer merged from original tick of Lunch Break on 23 May 2016 at 19:00 - Score: 8

On Tap Clear deep golden with a persistent white head and lacing. MIld soft maltiness with subdued earthly hop flavors. Strange alomost smokey salty flavor. Lacking the fresh sharp bite of a good IPA. rather smooth and subtle.
