Our hop forward session beer, built for enjoying any time of day. You’ll find this brew to be full of juicy, classic hop flavor with just enough malt backbone to keep things in balance. We reserve some of our favorite hops–Simcoe, Cascade and Centennial–to use in this beer, which gives the aroma a heady mix of orange marmalade, grapefruit, and resin.

Hops: Amarillo, Cascade, Galaxy, Rakau, Simcoe

Malt: Light Crystal, Munich, Two Row

Bottle thanks to Sarah! Pours a hazy orange with a gold hue and a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma has a light grapefruit note with some grass and a light grain backbone. Flavor has an earthy citrus note with some sweet grains and a bit if grass.

Bottle, picked up at smokes n suds Lewiston. Difficult pour, huge foamy eggshell colored head. Tons of soapy lacing. The smell is citrus and tropical fruit, but the tell of Band-Aids... Sour and medicinal taste, green apple and Band-Aids. Bummer, I was looking forward to this as a first Super Bowl beer.

Bottle shared at a tasting. Slight cheese aroma with tart acidic orange juice and lemongrass and sweaty socks on the nose. Active carbonation with a light, crisp mouthfeel. Tart lemon zest, slight yogurt taste with more orange peel. Dry and acidic finish. This bottle was unfortunately infected. Almost brett-like in some ways. Probably opened it before the infection made it undrinkable. We all still kind of enjoyed it, but it seems there is a solid beer under the infection. --- Beer merged from original tick of Lunch Break on 30 Jan 2016 at 19:52 - Score: 5. Original review text: Infected bottle, but still drinkable. Lots of orange.

Pours hazy pale, bit of white foam, not overly much. Green herbal hops, sourness, some citrus, maybe orange. Tastes acidic, potentially somewhat damaged. Still has some fruits, hop bitterness, and lingering bitterness in the finish. Probably different from what it was supposed to be, still refreshing though.

65cl bottle at Sandar Haandverksbryggeri - Brygghuset, Sandefjord. Pours slightly hazy golden with a decent, white head. Hoppy aroma with grassy and fruity notes. Moderate sweet with nice hoppy flavours and a pleasant bitterness. Tasty, refreshing and certainly sessionable. --- Beer merged from original tick of Lunch Break on 23 Jan 2016 at 19:22 - Score: 6

1/2 pint draft at the brewpub in Portland, Oregon. The pour is a mostly clear golden with a smallish white head. The aroma is bright grass and resin hops. The taste is the resin floral, along with a bit of soapiness. Malt is more or less not present. The palate is light to thin bodied with soft carbonation and a mineral resin finish. Easy drinking.

On tap at Kick. It’s a hazy golden colored beer with a small off-white. Caramel malts, pine cones and grass in the aroma. There’s a nice bitterness in the mouth, it’s medium bodied and with a decent co2 level. Grass and pine cones, and a rather malty back. Medium length finish, mostly on the hoppy side but there’s also a solid malt flavor. Overall, too much on the malty side I think. 150822
