Our hop forward session beer, built for enjoying any time of day. You’ll find this brew to be full of juicy, classic hop flavor with just enough malt backbone to keep things in balance. We reserve some of our favorite hops–Simcoe, Cascade and Centennial–to use in this beer, which gives the aroma a heady mix of orange marmalade, grapefruit, and resin.

Hops: Amarillo, Cascade, Galaxy, Rakau, Simcoe

Malt: Light Crystal, Munich, Two Row

Draft @ Alibi Room. Slight haze, thin head. Aroma is mostly grapefruity. Light bitterness, light pithy orange/mandarin, sweetish and slightly biscuity malts. Pretty drinkable.

Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours translucent gold with a white head. Huge hop nose - mixed citrus/pine. Med minus body. Flavor is strongly citrus - almost like orange/grapefruit zest, but the backbone is, arguably necessarily, a bit low in tone. Still a "zesty", tasty IPA is a very good thing.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with small frothy white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is lemongrass and grapefruit. Thin mouth, juicy, tropical fruit, very crushable, yes.

On tap at breakside pub Portland. Pours out a crisp golden topped with a small white head. Nose is cereal malts grainy citrus hops and a wood touch. Taste is more of the hop and malt combo it works well.

Draft - Sweet nice grapefruit. Clear gold with a decent white head. Light grapefruit, some sweetness and a pithy bitterness. Not bad, hits all the session ale buttons.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Hazy dark blond color, persistent head. Fruity aroma, quite tropical. Lean mouthfeel, quite dry but also smooth; nice, delicate malt backbone, and good quality hopping, a bit resiny and orangey, lightly tropical.
Very nice, clean, fresh.

Bomber. Pours a light hazy orange color with a large white head. A big fruity hop nose. Lovely flavor, soft simcoe resiny hops, oranges, lemons, zesty but not very bitter. Tons of flavor here, super clean. Wow. The balance here is just awesome between the hops and the light toasted malt bill. The cleanness of this is amazing. Awesome Session IPA.

On tap at the Pine Box, pours a crystal clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out dry crackery malt and piney hops, with a touch of mineraly notes. Flavour is dry, with crackery malt and dry piney hops. Quite bitter, with a good balance. Pretty standard but solid and drinkable. Good stuff.
