Tasting at SF, Vancouver
Deep purple color. Light aroma of berries. Aggressive acidity, aggressive unripe raspberries.
I can't see the point of drinking this.

750mL bottle, pours a deep dark maroon with a small pink head. Aroma brings out lots of tart, pithy dark berries, with a bit of oak. Flavour is loaded with pithy, dark berries, with light acidity, and a touch of oak. Very pithy and fruity. Nice stuff.

Purple. Not much head. On the nose, there's decent fruit, and a light tartness. Full on fruit - dark berry notes. There is a little funk - getting towards the butyric that happens with fresh fruit - but it also has a strong character, the fruit is nice, and overall I like it, despite having a blast of that harsh de garde tartness in the finish.
