Keg at BD 7D, Collabfest mop up, 02/11/22. Black with a well presented lasting khaki head. Nose is dark malts, chocolate, spice, toffee, dried fruits. Taste comprises roast malts, spice, chocolate, toffee, fruit slice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Not bad.

Keg in Brewdog Paddington. Black with a thin tan head. Chocolate and coffee aroma, flavour delivers both along with plenty of creamy sweetness. Lovely

Black beer, creamy head. Smells of toasty malt and chocolate. Flavour has toasty malt, cocoa, sweeter chocolate. Simple flavours done really well, good body and a nice toasty finish.

Crowler from Union Square. It pours darkest brown to black with a small tan head. The aroma is soft, sweet, toothy, warming cinnamon, chocolate gateaux, rocky road, vanilla, dark fruits and candy. The taste is slick, oily, toothy, rich roasted, toasty, chewy, woody, toothy, chocolate gateaux, vanilla, coconut, warming cinnamon, ashy, charred, peppery spice and light tannin with a toasty finish. Medium + body and fine carbonation. Decent stuff.
