Bottle. Corn, barley malt, and straw aroma. Yellow with moderate head. Moderately sweet creamy toffee malt and moderately bitter hay/quinine flavor. Decent body. More like a standard pale lager.

Clear golden coloured body with a nice, frothy white head, about four centimetres tall. Aroma of grass, hay, light malt and only a hint of the hops at play here - fairly mild and unassuming. Light-bodied; Strong malt notes with some nuttiness, herbs and a very light hop and body around at all. Aftertaste shows some grassy hop character, a little malt and that’s about it - fairly bland overall. Overall, a disapointing beer - was expecting something the palate here - but this one was rather boring and uneventful. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Giant Food in Falls Church, Virginia on 28-April-2016 for US$1,99.

Draft at TJ Stone’s in Alexandria. Poured a clear yellow color with not much of a head at all. Aroma was notes of light crisp notes, light grain, biscuit. Crisp grassy notes, light herbal and earthy hops. Okay, refreshing.

Bot, from friend. Looks like a good solid macro brew; bubbly pale clear with a nice head. Smells clean and crisp. Flavor is also clean & crisp. Goodly amount of co2 almost keeps its sharp old country pils nip at bay. Yes, perhaps a little sharper than I care for. Medium long astringent finish. Good example of a blast from the old european past. So this is the style that all american pale lagers evolved from? That good cutting co2 really ads to the enjoyment of this brew.

On draught at Winking Lizard. The beer is a clear golden color with a medium white head that burns away steadily to a film. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Grassy hops, fruit and malt in the nose. Light to medium body with flavors of mildly spicy hops, biscuit malt and fruit. The finish is mildly bitter with an herbal hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

Bottle dated best by 06/19/16 Pilsner glass A: Pours crystal clear medium gold with lots of large bubbles rising. Short bubbly head with patches of lace. S: Pretty nondeScript smell of grass and sweet white bread. T: A nice round biscuit/breadiness with just enough sweetness meets slight grassy hop bitterness. Good balance and refreshing taste. M: Medium body and clean drinking with slight resin in the finish. Average carbonation. O: Nice pils although only slightly above average on most points. At least it’s not hopped all to hell for a change. Ultimately though, not worth $11/6.

Sampled on draft at the Headkeeper this beer poured a vibrant yellow color with a large foamy white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was perfume, chalk and a bit of floral hops. The flavor was dry and perfumey with a bit of herbal hops and chalk. Long perfumey finish. Light to medium body. Meh.
