Braumanufaktur Märzen, 5,1 %, Flasche von REWE, Geltow. - Kupferrot, fast klar. 05/03 Draught at the brewpub. It poured rod body with small, slightly off white head, exactly same as "Lager" I just had before. Sourish aroma, some unpasteurized hops, sweetish biscuit malty, notably different than their Lager now. Bittersweet flavor, caramel, biscuit, yeasty, herbal hops, very fine. Pretty full in body with long herbal and slightly biscuit finish. Fine beer, nice German type Märzen.

Draught at the brewpub, 5.4%, shared with heavy. Poured a red-brown body with a small white head. Sweet malty nose with a yeastiness kinda typical for Central European micro beers. The taste is roasty, yeasty, with some chewy watermelon-like hops, slightly acidic. Fruity, carrying some socky yeastiness. Got better as it got warmer. Very light bitter hoppy aftertaste. Nice enough. We weren´t expecting such a dark Märzen at the time, being used to the Austrian definition.
