Can, I think, from Against The Grain.
Appearance - black with a thin tan head.
Nose - booze, dried fruit, whisky, oak, oxidised cherry note and chocolate. Taste - dried fruit, wood, burnt toast, leather and general cacao nibs.
Palate - full bodied initially, then falls away.
Overall - nice.

Can direct from the brewery. It pours darkest brown to black, black with a small khaki head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, charred, umami, liquorice allsorts, whisky soaked oak, dried fruits, plum wine, nuttiness, vanilla, touch of toasty coconut, bounty bar, toffee crisp, chocolate, rocky road and some alcohol. The taste is dry, dark roasted malt, bitter - sweet, warming, boozey, toothy, chewy, spicy vibes, whisky soaked oak, dried fruits, plum, date, nuttiness, slightly jammy, toasted fruit cake, cacao nibs, dark chocolate, umami, burnt toast and liquorice with a super dry, dark roasted finish. Medium+ body and average carbonation. Nice depth and interesting character to it. Some people will probably complain that it isn't super heavy, but it works for me. Fun.
