Golden Russet. Not to be confused with a potato, this single varietal cider is bright with a nice off dry finish. Golden Russet dances along the pallet perfect for all times and occasions.

Press online. Lo-ball at home. No vintage.

Slightly hazed, medium gold pour with a bit of lather.
Off-dry, leaning sweet. Smoked n sour orange, earthy russet taste, long muscadine grape twang finish. Whiskey sour feels. I usually find russets too oaky & pithy but the label says cane sugar as well, so maybe some boiling happened. Very soft farmhouse & orange oil on the tail.
Tart, twangy, bright fruit, medium tannins, starts sweet but finishes drier. Slight booze warmth, thin with some oil, medium-low forced carb.

Russets are the universal plug-in of the cider world but this one had something more interesting going on. Cheers.
