The Three Sisters is a Sour Saison crafted in honor of an agricultural past that is rife with lessons for the present. Pouring a straw yellow, rustic malts and a blend of Belgian yeasts fill the air with notes of bread crust, lemon curd, and hints of pear. Saaz and Hallertau Mittelfrüh hops bring forth notes of garden herbs, noble spice, and lemon tea. We hope you enjoy this beer while contemplating the natural world, our agrarian past, and our place between the two

Charlton draught, 9/18/25.
Biscuits and rustic grain with a pinch of peachy lacto and not a whole lot of clearly discernible Sacch. That said, I also don't get a noseful of clove or bubble gum. Some pepper lingering alongside more peach. Low acidity.
Peachy-tart lactic acidity with a healthy backing of grain. Good malt depth and attenuation with a bit of Sacch on the finish. Pepper and fruit. No clove or bubblegum is a great thing. Well-done, albeit weird to kettle sour a saison.

Pours a mildly hazy (almost murky) gold-lemon yellow, with mid-sized head. Aroma has a very strong note of sour wheat ester that kind of overpowers everything else (not necessarily a bad thing). Very sour flavor, with some citrus and some wheat and banana esters. Mouthfeel is fairly clean and crisp. This isn't bad.
