This is a collaboration with our wonderful friends Mills brewery, brewed to celebrate 10 years of DEYA.
A homage to one of our favourite monastic Belgian beers.. Bruern Farms Plumage Archer gives subtle bready, caramel notes. Whilst our house yeast, brett cultures and Mills own house culture combine to add a melange of yeast profiles, giving this beer a characteristic complexity - peach, elderflower and a hint of barnyard funk. Fresh, wholecone Mystic hops add some grassy, traditional hop balance.
This beer morphs and changes with every taste and will continue to do so for many years to come.

29/4/2026. Bottle shared by LazyPyro, cheers Chris! Good pour. Funky, twiggy, apple, vinegary, yeasty, vinous. Moderately sour, drying.

375ml bottle. Slightly hazy gold, minimal head. Aroma of funky fruity notes. Taste matches Deya's promised notes of elderflower, peach, and funk, maybe a bit of vinegar, light sourness, all somewhat muted though. Light body with very little carbonation.
Not a bad beer in my opinion but it is a safe one, so a bit disappointing considering the breweries behind it. The kind of beer you might use to introduce a novice to the style.

Bottle. Xmas gift from the missus. Hazed gold. Slim off white foam. Nose has generic saison yeast characteristics. Taste is dry and verges on vinegary. Thin and pretty lifeless. Tart almost vinegar finish. Iād be embarrassed if I were Mills having my name on this shite.
