A crisp, modern IPA inspired by Japanese brewing tradition. Pale malt, Vienna and flaked rice create a clean, dry base. Sorachi Ace hops bring notes of lemon zest and herbal dill, complemented by bright citrus from Citra and a hint of creamy coconut from Sabro. Delicate, aromatic and quietly distinctive.

Strangely enough I have an early conference call tomorrow about Sumo coming to the Albert Hall in October. This Japanese hop export has plenty of body as a Sumo wrestler has! West coast styling, its clear gold appearance is attractive, less so in taste with a more lager-esque feel on the buds, and in aroma.
