Bottle drunk May 2021.
Light honey-amber with some slightly deeper strawberry tints. Good clarity, small, white head atop is fleeting.
Super soft with rounded acidity, plentiful bacterial complexity and light vanilla and slight oak notes from the barrel. Strawberry, apple, cherry, light plum notes are lively and interesting with honey-like malts supporting everything gently in the background. No alcohol or flaw noted.
Soft and tart with a great balance of fruity acidity, soft, slick barrel/tannin character and gentle, well-attenuated, but sumptuous, honey-like malts. Mild and yet flavorful with low, tight carbonation, great balance and flavor and no flaw or alcohol noted.

At the brewery: april 2017 bottling: pours an orange sort of color with a short-lived white head. Aroma is funky, winy, floral, fruity. Taste is somewhat sour. Nice sweet elements. Very complex. Extremely pleasant aftertaste. Quite good. (This was originally wrongly rated as 2017 as this is actually the rebottling of 2016).

Bottle at Salud courtesy of Jason, thank you sir! Very slight gush. Hazy golden color. Peppery dusty white wine aroma. Taste is vinous funky slightly sour fruity with light tannins. Delicious.
