Dry Hopped Foedre Aged Farmhouse Ale.

As we have evolved, we have looked for ways to continue to elevate and experiment with our favorite beers. Grisette is inspired by the soft session beers of Belgium with it's blond color, notes of floral European hops and delicate, bright finish. For this iteration, we gently dry-hopped this complex, yet very approachable beer after aging it in a Missouri Oak Foedre for several months before naturally conditioning it in this bottle.

Blend #1 was dry-hopped with New Zealand Pacifica and Slovenian Styrian Golding.

750ml (thx, Brent L.!) @ Ryan's. Appearance: slightly hazy blonde with a white head. Aroma: some funk and bugs, a bit of Belgian Saison yeasts character. Taste: along the same lines, lemon zest and citrus peels may be just a bit more Brett character than I would prefer. Overall: pretty nice and refreshing.

8/10
Preferred the non dry hop but only cause I like it so much, the dry hop mellows out the tasty tasty grisette base and adds it's own hint of hoppy juiciness.

Bottle From Tavour. Pours clear pale golden, large puffy white head, great lacing. Aroma is dusty, hints of Brett and oak, bright citrus notes. Flavor is light tart, lightly funky, a bit of oak, citrus hops. Light body, soft carbonation. Quite excellent, particularly at 4%

750 ml bottle from Tavour, 12/17/21. Blend #1. Pours a clear, bright golden color with a large pillowy and foamy white head that sticks around for a while. Herbal, lemon, grassy, and funky. Good bit of wood as well. Bright, funky, and slightly tart. Nice mix here. Nice flavor profile. Tasty stuff. 8/4/8/4/17

On tap at The SP Cellar. Pours a cloudy gold with medium white head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is strong oak, funk, brett, lemon zest, floral. Medium body, wheat, brett, funk, oak, lemon zest, light tartness, delicate finish, enjoyed this.
