We had Masa visit us from Japan a few weeks back to brew an in-person follow-up to our Digital Age collab Kaikoma from last year. Through Citra, Riwaka and Nelson Sauvin, we have flooded this DIPA with notes of grapefruit, passionfruit, lemongrass and lime, mowed lawns and ice cold white wine.

Can. Hazy orange gold beer, small and short lived pale cream colour head. Airy palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Fairly light bodied pale malts, a nice light creamy sweetness. Crisp cooling pine hops, a savoury aspect underneath. The hops fruits are soft and juicy but, also a bit indistinguishable, well Riwaka exotics anyway. Crisp finish shows a mild hop spice and leaves a mild savoury linger. Solid but left me slightly unmoved.

440ml can. Murky golden, white head. Aroma of mango, peach, lime. Taste is sweet-ish, tropical fruits, mango, peaches, lime, grapefruit, guava, grape, gooseberry, light pithy hop bitterness. Full bodied, smooth.

Nose is ripe tropicana, pissy NZ hops, grass, lychee, white grape must.
Taste comprises stone fruit, pine resin, bitter tropicana, hop spice, grass, papaya, guava.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with danko come resinous hop bitterness allied to a mellow boost.
Top drawer DIPA ... Riwaka and Nelson shine.

Sharp, green & hopped aroma.
Medium to full bodied, smooth with a sharper clean back.

Can from The Fuss Club. Aromas of passionfruit, lime, peach. Flavours of lime, grapefruit, passionfruit, lemongrass. Rich citrus fruits with a light hoppy backbone. Goes down a treat.
