Our Barley Wine collab with Narragansett Brewery in the USA (famous for their lager brand used in the Jaws movie). Big bold flavours of cereal, caramel and toffee adorn this beautifully rounded Barley Wine. One for sipping, sharing or drinking anyway you please.

This beer is part of our Loch Lomond / Levenbank project as we will also use the beer recipe minus the hops and distill the proceeds to mature for release in 2030 as a single grain whisky to be savoured alongside the original beer that will be brewed again nearer the time.

440ml can. Clear orange but a lot of suspended sediment, beige head. Aroma of toffee/caramel, some marzipan, dried fruits. Taste is sweet, caramel, toffee, marzipan and slight nuttiness, dried fruits - raisins, figs, prunes etc., warming alcohol whisky notes. Medium-full bodied, smooth. Decent BA barley wine, one might have expected more from it.

Can from The Beer Hatch, Norwich. Aromas of toffee apple, sweet tobacco, cinnamon, nutmeg, Seville orange marmalade. Taste is the same as above with a spot of bourbon coming through too. Sweet boozy finish. Nothing out of the ordinary but a pleasant BA barley wine nonetheless.
