33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Albert Heijn, Leersum. Dark amber with a thin white head. Caramel aroma with some peach, raisins and spicyness as well. Taste is medium-bitter with a sweet taste. Finish is long and semi-sweet. Has some resemblance with a German (doppel)bock in terms of the maltiness and overall impression but with a bit more pronounced hop character. Very interesting beer.

Bottle. Color: Amber to ruby, thin off-white head. Taste: Malty, light roasted, caramel, medium sweet and moderate to medium bitter, notes of flowers, herbal, fruity bitterness, alcohol, nuts. Pretty complex, but at the end some sticky sweetness and fruity bitter notes is all that remains in the finish. It's not bad, but lacking some balance and a bit too sticky sweet

Light brown colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have a lot of sweet dried fruits. Finish is pleasantly dry though aided by the slightly warming alcohol.

Bottle at home. Hazy dark amber with thin white head. Massive caramels, rye and raisans, touch of red wine and vanilla. Big sweet and light bitter. Full body and massive maltiness, slick heavy velvety mouthfeel. Sweet sugar bomb.
