16 oz can in a trade with tfontana. Thank you! Nose shows me bold citrus fruits and mild white grape. These citra Verdos work extremely well with this display of Nelson Sauvin hops. Notes of white grape, orange, tangerine, grapefruit hints. Dare I say a “explosion” of juice character. Awesome!

Canned 8/25/25, drunk 9/28/25, compliments of tfontana.
Heavily hazy, bronze-maize-golden. Big, frothy, white head.
Juicy, with hints of earth and big mineral. Tangerine, fresh squeezed orange juice and mild white grape. Little bit of ripe pineapple, but no twang or big herb here. Clean and polished with white bread and honey from the malt and no alcohol noted.
Rich and Nelson-forward! Yay. That's the stuff! White grape/wine with dainty, soft, supple honey-like maltiness. Rich, deep, well-attenuated. Citra injects the fresh squeezed citrus juice. This is ridiculously soft, juicy, flavorful and balanced.

Pours a bright, hazy, orange-pineapple, with smallish head. Aroma is citrus and tropical fruit. Flavor follows, with a light, non-cloying sweetness. Soft mouthfeel. Moderate hop bitterness in the finish.

Can (that opened unexpectedly while removing from plastic rings, dated 8/25/25) from the brewery. Opaque, dark yellow, tons of sparkle, thin head with good retention, nice lacing. Aroma is super strong (can smell from two feet away!) citrus and white grape, very late hint of herb. Taste follows aroma along with nice malt backbone. Smooth, frothy, creamy texture, silky soft carbonation, faint, pleasant alcohol warmth, and finish as taste with nice bitter balance. There's the old grapey Nelson I love! Holy juice, Batman! Not super complex but this just might be the quintessential Citra and Nelson DNEIPA against which all others of the style should be measured! Really well done. Gotta love me some fresh hops!
