We were stoked to be invited by Omnipollo to take part in Volume 6 of 3x3: a collaborative series that brings together old friends and new in the brewing world, with a mission to merge brewing philosophies and techniques to create unique, multilayered hoppy beers.
Our version contains Citra, Mosaic and Nelson Sauvin - it's overflowing with mango, lime, papaya and that signature vinous Nelson hit, all resting on a pillowy soft body that makes this DIPA drink all so easily.

440ml can drank side by side with Omnipollo's version.
Murky golden with a small white head. Aroma of dank Nelson, white wine and gooseberry. Taste is juicy and tropical, gooseberry, mango, guava, dank herbs, hop spice finish with a touch of booze. Medium-full bodied, smooth. Great stuff.
Not as sweet as Omnipollo's, but totally different hop flavour profile. Both really good, really hard to pick between them.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Hazy gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly dry, a good fine minerally crisp snap. Light bodied pale malts bring the right amount of creamy sweetness for this brew. Really nice balance of green hop and fruity hop here. Mild savoury skunk, a fair amount of hop spice chowing down on the soft parts of your palate. Juicy citrus and stone fruits. Light and semi dry finish leaves you wanting another mouthfeel, now! Clever brew.

Nose is ripe tropical fruit esters, Nelson whisper, papaya, raw pineapple, grass, pine resin.
Taste comprises ripe melon, stone fruit, pine resin, dank spike, lychee, grapefruit.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced juicy come resinous hop bitterness allied to a mellow boost.
Solid punchy DIPA ... Nelson shines.
