Louisiana sweet oranges have a rich flavor and zest that naturally complements the pilsner and wheat malts in this smooth brew. The oranges are added in the brewhouse to give the beer a sun-kissed citrus aroma and flavor. All our Harvest Series brews are made with the finest Louisiana-grown ingredients.

$2.40 bottle from Parkhurst Wine Shop at Rainbow Hill. The bottle is old - didn't notice that when I picked it up. Best by 4/23/17, I'm drinking it 7/15/18. Oh well. Pours golden with lots of floaters. Aroma is sweet candied orange, light toast. Flavor is slightly candied orange, grasses, chalk or maybe not chalk - dusty? no more chalky. That's about it. Not impressed; even if this is an old bottle, I can't imagine there was much more going on a year ago. Editing to add: the further into this I get, the less I like it. Dropping taste a point and overall by 2.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours translucent pale gold with a white head. Orange aroma. Not artificial either. Med minus body. Flavor is orange and wheat. Not bitter. Reasonably dry. Mildly wheaty in the finish. Lake beer perhaps.

O- It is what it is. Obvious pale lager base with touches of orange flavoring. Not too sweet nor too artificial tasting. Decent enough.

Bottle Hazy, light yellow with a small white head. Powdered orange scent....like aspergum.... Rather artificial tasting orange, wheat malt,.....watery, shandy-like. Nothing really bad about it, just amazingly weak and bland.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a slightly hazy bright yellow color with a medium sized creamy white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet with tart artificial orange. The flavor was sweet, tart and tangy with artificial orange, grain and cracker. Long orange finish. Medium body. Ok.
