The jet-black beer aroma reveals tonka bean vanilla and cinnamon, burnt sugar and velvety berry notes. The flavor is full-bodied and powerful, with layers of chocolate, coffee, bourbon toffee, mild vanilla and rum-soaked plums. A rich and flavor-packed imperial stout, full of depth and complexity.

Black body, with a small head.
Aroma with lots of booze, soy sauce, coconut, port wine. Tastes less boozy, with more chocolate and marzipan.
Medium mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation. Finishes quite boozy again, moderate roasty, medium sweet, with chocolate, port wine.
A bit too boozy and heavy for my taste, while still interesting, with sweet and roasty notes in a good balance.

330mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has a surprisingly laid back mix of rum and wine barrels, maybe some bourbon, with soft toasted malt. Flavour has a bunch of white wine port, with barely any trace of bourbon or rum. The malt profile is pretty laid-back but prominent enough to provide foundation for the Carcavelos. I think this comes together despite initially seeming a bit confused. Very nice.

0,33l bottle at home. Black color, small coffee colored head. smells subtle whiskey, oak, spices, light booze, earthy. Nice smell. full body, light carbonation. tastes rum, port, spices, nuts, vanilla, fudgy. finishes lightly sweet with notes of rum, port and spices. Nice one, but tries to do too many things, a tad too intense

330 ml bottle. Pours black with short tan head. Aromas of rum and calvados barrels, spicy chocolate, black coffee and toasted malts. Flavors of dark caramel, cinnamon, dark chocolate, cognac, bourbon, dry vanilla and oily roasted malts. So much going on. Super well balanced flavors. Beautiful.

Near opaque and oily looking dark brown beer, small dark tan head, doesn't last long. Nose is boozy fruitcake and bitter chocolate. Smooth palate, slightly viscous, decent fine carbonation. Boozy fruit cake is front and centre here with a good lashing of dark chocolate liqueur that is not all sweet. Back end brings some rum and very rich dried fruits and pruney datey fruits. Smooth finish leaves a mildly warning linger. Rich and well layered and very very tasty.

A very dark brown beer, no head. Aroma of bourbon, vanilla, mid sweet strong dark malt. Taste of bourbon, vanilla, sweet dark malt, wood. Slightly boozy. Lovely.
Sweetish, roasty and heavy with woody notes, some rum, oak and cocoa. A bit heavy.
Magus, mõru, kohv, linnaseline šokolaad. Ok

Tap at Borefts. Black with small head. Herbal, vanilla, coffee, dark sigar, cardamom, cinnamon. Quite sweet, medium bitter. Fill bodied. Nice!
