Named after Hrad Hněvín, the castle that overlooks the Czech town of Most, Hněvín 10° is rooted in tradition. Born from a shared admiration for Czech brewing, this beer was the result of a collaborative brew day with our friends at Cohesion Brewing, masters of the Czech pour and guardians of the hladinka.
Brewed with 100% floor-malted Bohemian barley and a traditional double decoction mash, this polotmavé (half-dark lager) unfolds with layers of toasted bread crust, soft caramel, and dried fruit. It's single-hopped with Most, a newer Czech varietal named for the same town, lending subtle notes of strawberry, white grape, spring florals, and a clean herbal bitterness that brightens the malt without overwhelming it.
Naturally carbonated and lagered cold with patience, Hněvín 10° is our collaborative love letter to Czech brewing.
Na zdraví!
