Straight up Imperial Stout. A mix of 7 different malts and adjuncts, with flaked oats contributing to a silky mouthfeel, roast barley and chocolate malt bringing coffee, tobacco and dark chocolate and medium and light crystal malts contributing dried fruit and toffee. Enigma hops bring some plum, pine and black pepper to the mix.

330ml can via Beer52, drank at Auntie Sue's on 31st October 2025 (pre positioned by me). Poured into a bulbous Berliner Kindl glass; Jet black body, tanned top, looked foreboding and rich. Smooth chocolate, malty feel, boozy and fruit cake flavours. Nice!

330ml can from Beer52. Dark black with tanned head but fades quite early. Aroma and taste of dark yet sweet malts, dark chocolate, liquorice, berries, fig. Nice balanced dessert like stout, sweet but not overbearing. Slick medium to full body, soft carbonation.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A glossy black pour with a thick mocha coloured head that falls slowly and laces the glass; silky smooth in rather mouth with a sweet chocolate taste; then some finish has obvious alcohol to start but this soon mellows into a pleasant warmth.
