Can from Beerdome. Clear brown with a smallwhite head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and toasted malt. Flavor is quite sweet. Sweet finish. 311225

On tap at In de Wildeman, Amsterdam on 27th November 2025. Deep ruby with lasting pale tan foam and spot lacing. Rich hazelnut maltiness in aroma. Rich and spicy maltiness in-mouth with hints of tangy fruits. A toasty malt finish of some duration. A smooth mouthfeel and plenty of body.

Blik 33cl thuis. Caramel, bittertonen, citrustonen, wat chocolade, maltig, licht droog, zoet, rozijn, rood fruittonen. (15-11-2025).

0.33 l can from the brewery's web shop, best before December 2028. First bock of the season for me. Almost clear, dark ruby with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, minimally roasty aroma of caramel, cocoa and toasted nuts. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, a little roasty taste of cocoa, caramel, roasted nuts and traces of wet leaves, followed by a short, moderately bitter, a bit roasty finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent Bock, well-brewed for sure, still a bit bland.

Can from a local bottle shop. Robust brown malts with caramel and a touch of chocolate. Mild to medium sweet, moderate bitter. Good Bock, big caramalt.
