Curious pint. Various malt notes vying for dominance, with varying veins of toasted pumpernickel, caramel, and straight-up fresh wort swirling together above a sugary center and a mild bitterness on the back end. Slight lemon note seems odd. Briny finish. Assertive, and the texture is dreamy, but could use some focus

Sampled from a can this beer poured a reddish brown color with an enormous foamy tan head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was malty with toffee, dark fruit and a bit of astringency. The flavor was malty with toffee, honey and faint notes of wood and smoke. Long finish. Medium body.

Dark ruby red color with thin head. Roasted malt aroma. Flavor is a nice balance that starts with a caramel and roasted malt flavor balanced by mild bitterness. Mild coffee taste at the end.

Draft at Pizzeria Toro. Poured a clear reddish brown color with a small tan head. Aroma was sweet malts, some light toffee, with a little bit of dried fruits. Flavors were similar - sweet malts with a very light nutty character to it. Little bit of dried fruits finish.
