Now the silly DIPAs are back again, I can’t seem to stop. This is one of those beers that costs so much to make that it’s purely for fun and not a beer made with my financial head screwed on. Completely saturated in the most intense hops the world grows. This time it’s the turn of Galaxy, Citra, Riwaka and Nelson Sauvin. How’s that for a hop lineup! Using that USA DIPA method of overstepping what’s drinkable.

Can from House Of Trembling Madness. Hazy deep golden body with an off-white head that gradually fades. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of peach, pine and clementine. Flavour of peach, mango and honey. Medium to full body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. A bonkers DIPA - heavily hopped and pungent, yet still somehow easy to drink.

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 14/10/2025.
Murky orange topped with a just off white cap that veers to the edge.
Nose is gooseberries, pine resin, lychee, hop spice, dank chimes, NZ hop fumes.
Taste comprises bitter orange, grass, pine resin, white grape, stone fruit, grapefruit.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splice with danko come resinous hop bitterness allied to a balanced rising boost.
Top drawer DIPA.

A mild to medium haze on this gold beer, small and short lived pale cream colour head. Light smooth palate, mildly dry, good superfine minerally carbonation. Light bodied pale malts, a light bodied but effective creamy sweetness. Crisp cooling pine. A mild savoury skunk. Riwaka exotic barely nameable fruits are immediately obvious. Warhorses Citra and Galaxy fill in the background with a good broad spectrum hop fruity goodness. Nelson comes through on the back end with a light and slightly tart grape. Smooth finish leaves a long hop spicy and juicy hop fruit linger. Tres good.

44cl can from House of Cans SoHo, pours light yellow pulp, clingy white head.  Dank nose, grassy and stinky, bright citrus, tropicals and herbs.  Flavor has a light oat character then very grassy and herbal.  Dank.  Citrus which is mostly grapefruit, lychee and other tropicals.  Light vanilla.  Feels every bit of 8%, medium full, bitter and boozy.  8 8 8.5 8 8.5
