Golden sour ale with hot peppers.

Golden Ghost is a collaboration with our friends of Golden Grove Farm and Brew who grew us a few ghost peppers to use in this unique golden sour. It boasts a heavy hop load of Azacca, El Dorado, & BRU-1 hops and a blend de-seeded Ghost, Reaper, & Scorpion flesh. Strong notes of pineapple and citrus. Pepper manifests in flavor but not in heat. Perfectly balanced with bright acidity and a hint of the white wine barrels that mothered the base golden sour.

Tap. Pours clear golden, minimal head or lacing. Aroma is quite interesting, peppers, citrus. Flavor is light tart, huge pepper flavor and burn. Some salty lemon as well. Light body, flat. The pepper flavors are fresh and interesting, but this fucker Burns. Most folks would be done after a single sip. Hell, my lips are hot. Kudos for going there, but you must have a lot of pissed off customers with this one.

Sour gose style taste with a large dose of hot pepper heat at the end that remains on the palette. Interesting beer,

Draft at the source. Slightly hazy golden color, white head. Aroma of light earth. Full pepper flesh flavor comes in the taste, and ample but not overwhelming heat in the finish. Gose characteristics survive the peppers, yet the peppers take front stage too. The dark horse of the night. Delicious.
